The Bourne Historical Society will present Wampanoag Day 2023, a day honoring Indigenous identities and culture, on Saturday, September 23, from 11 AM to 3 PM at The Museums At Aptucxet. The event will feature traditional arts, live performance and cultural experiences.

Performances will include musical artist and member of the Wampanoag Nation Michelle St. John at noon, and the Wampanoag Nation Singers and Dancers at 2 PM. Additionally, Native artists will demonstrate traditions such as making corn husk dolls, wampum pendants, painting and cooking. Food will be available.
