highly commended, expressions and impressions of the landscapeHayle, Cornwall, England. “After a morning taking photographs on the beach at Hayle estuary, I captured this image while walking back along the coastal path to the car. The movement and texture of the dune grasses blowing in the breeze was extremely evocative and I felt totally immersed in the moment. I hoped that I had captured that feeling. Using intentional camera movement, I gently moved the camera in the same direction as the wind, creating a slightly abstract, painterly feel.”
