SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTGS) — The Savannah’s Christmas Market is back, returning to the Plant Riverside District.

The outdoor holiday market features live performances, holiday-themed food and drink options, and plenty of locally owned shops along the riverfront.

Many of the vendors said that they are excited to exchange their products face-to-face.

“It’s really exciting for us as locals,” said Ben Smith, one of the vendors at the holiday market.

Smith explained the meaning behind his booth, 7th and Palm, and it’s all about the art.

“Everyone deserves a little bit of art, you may not want to buy this huge original art piece to take home with you, but maybe it’s the greeting card or the Christmas ornament or a little painting to take home with you.”

Another vendor at the holiday market, Sibel Alpaslan, had a booth that featured handmade ceramics that take plenty of time to make.

“It’s nice to be here because I can meet with people, and they can see my work. It makes me happy,” said Sibel.

The market had hundreds of people daily come visit the shops and vendors.

If you haven’t made it to the Savannah Christmas Market, don’t worry, it will be open for visitors until January 1st.
