Looking for a Native-made gift for that special someone? Craving some Indian tacos or a bowl of corn soup? Then stop by the Jacobson House for the Holiday Art Market, happening 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25-Sunday, Nov. 26 at 609 Chautauqua in Norman.
The market features Native artists selling their finest paintings, jewelry and handcrafted items.
Unite the People Native Caterers begin food sales at 11 a.m. until sold out. Indian tacos will be $10 each, a corn soup and frybread combo is $9 and a choice of regular or spicy meat pies is $7 each. Cash, card, Cashapp and PayPal will be accepted for food payments.
In addition to Native holiday goods and treats, the market will also feature live powwow music from the Jacobson House Singers, as well as works from the Jacobson House Native Art Center’s permanent collection.
