Indigenous Made Missoula, an organization that empowers and supports Native artists, will host a Winter Market event on Saturday to showcase Indigenous art, culture and craftsmanship.

Located at the Missoula Fairgrounds, the market will feature work from more than 50 Indigenous artists. It begins at noon and ends at 5 p.m.
People may also buy frybread tacos and drinks from Native-owned food trucks “Fat Baby Frybread” and “Your Cousin’s Coffee.”
And at 10 a.m. just before the market opens, the Montana ACLU is hosting a “We Are Still Here” rally to celebrate Indian Education for All and honor the resilience of Native communities. Speakers include Rep. Jonathan Windy Boy, Montana Teacher of the Year Kevin Kicking Woman, Akilah Maya Deernose and Cecelia Spencer.
The Indigenous Made Summer Market, featuring 40 artists and makers from all over Montana, will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Caras Park downtown on July 23.
The event is sponsored by All Nations Health Center, Missoula Democrats and United Way of Missoula.
