You will be part of a small and high-performing e-commerce photo studio delivering product photography that puts Hallmark’s products in front of the consumer demonstrating our superior product. WHAT YOUR ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE

As an Associate Photographer-eCommerce, you will focus on creating marketable ecommerce images displaying individual products as well as tabletop and basic environments for PDPs (product display pages) and other marketing materials through your contributions in craft, conceptual skills, creativity, initiative, collaboration and flexibility.

You have an eye for detail and demonstrate ability to conceptualize and solve for image direction to ensure product formats are clearly represented and understood by online shoppers. You will follow established style guides to create original photographic images for specific projects or products.

We are a fast-past, high volume production studio. You will partner with traffic, account leaders and art directors. You will collaborate with other photographers and production designers. We are a highly collaborative team: good flexibility and receptivity to feedback is essential to aid in learning the broad variables across the Hallmark eCommerce landscape.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required to be considered for this role:

At least 2 years’ experience in a creative field emphasizing photography in one or more of the following areas: Digital Print/ eCommerce/Commercial Environment, Fine Art / Multimedia.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your resume and application will stand out if you have:

BFA or BA with emphasis/major in one of the following areas: photography, multimedia, graphic design, or a related visual communications field.

Work experience in a team environment. Prefer 1 years’ experience in Hallmark photography, design and/or visual studios.

Technology Experience preferred: Adobe Creative Suites (e.g., Photoshop); Capture One: Aperture; Final Cut; After Effects; Adobe Premier; general computer programs supporting business communication (e.g., Word). Excellent visual, technical, and photographic skills with an eye for consistency and light.

Behaviors/Traits/Aptitude preferred: Visual creative and conceptual skills; 2D&3D, strong collaboration, communication skills (written and oral), aesthetic discernment, leadership skills, visioning skills, organization, results orientation, flexibility, strategic agility, and dealing with ambiguity.

Ability to work in a fast-paced commercial studio environment and adapt quickly to changes/deadlines. Ability to work independently and efficiently.

This position is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-studio/on-site depending on team needs and workflow/product expectations. Flexibility is needed in honoring business needs and drivers.
