SOUTHWEST HARBOR — On Tuesday, Jan. 23 at 5:30 p.m., Southwest Harbor Public Library will host the online program, “Photography on the Fly: Exploring Wild and Wondrous Maine While Hiking, Biking, Kayaking, Skiing, Skating, and Balancing on Slippery Seaweed-Covered Rocks,” with Margie Patlak.
In an online slideshow, award-winning science writer, memoirist and photographer Margie Patlak will talk about what inspired her to take the Maine nature photos that comprise her newly published photobook, “Wild and Wondrous: Nature’s Artistry on the Coast of Maine” (July 2023), and her photography-on-the-fly process using an iPhone.
