A collection of original photography by Robert Dimmitt of Buena Vista is being displayed through March 31 at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center, 1000 Rush Drive in Salida.

Dimmitt, a retired former employee at the HRRMC Buena Vista Health Center, has focused on his photography more in retirement, but he has been capturing images in and around Buena Vista for more than 35 years, a press release stated.

Dimmitt said his favorite images include the Collegiate Peaks and the Upper Arkansas Valley, which he has called home since early childhood. He said constant change in the surrounding mountainscapes are natural subject matter for him to capture, as he has seen much change in the area over the years.

Several of Dimmitt’s photos also are on display at the Buena Vista Health Center.
