The Evansville Arts Coalition invites all area photographers to participate in the Photo Club’s annual Photography Exhibit which will re-open the Evansville Art Center Gallery for the 2024 season. This exhibit will run from Friday, March 8 through Saturday, April 27, with gallery hours from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

There will be a meet and greet for all family and friends on Saturday, March 16 during regular gallery hours.

Photo guidelines:

• Each photo exhibited must be framed and/or ready for wall hanging. Photos must be at least 5-by-7 inches and not more than 16-by-20 inches in size, including frame.
• Each artist may exhibit a maximum of five photos that have not been in any prior EAC exhibit.
• The photographs may be of any subject, black and white or color. The artist must have taken photos.
• The EAC Photo Club will determine if photographs are appropriate for all audiences and will hang the display.
• Photos may be for sale. The artist determines the price; EAC retains a commission per sale.
• Please put name, phone number and price, if for sale, on back of each photo.
• Photographers must let Photo Club know if you are providing photographs for the exhibit by contacting Nancy at 218-948-2807 or nancy810@gctel.com or for more information. All photos must be submitted by Thursday, March 7.

All area photographers are also invited to attend Photo Club meetings. They are held on the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. The next meeting is scheduled for Feb. 7 and will include a time for sharing night sky photographs and planning for the upcoming photo exhibit.
The exhibit will be hung during the March 7 meeting where all photographers are encouraged to join us and are reminded to bring a hammer.
