A local wedding photographer is competing in the World Photographic Cup after her image was chosen by a global panel of jurists as one of the best wedding documentary photographs of the year.

The photograph “Showered with Blessings” by Della Watters, of Everett, captures a moment of euphoria as bride and groom Hannah Grace (Phero) and Brad Painter emerge from a church and are showered with birdseed by a crowd of well-wishers.
