AI-generated images of a dragon snow sculpture have been shared thousands of times across Thai social media posts after artists from the country won second place at a contest in Japan, contrary to false claims they came in first. In fact, the Mongolian team were the champions of the snow sculpting competition and the images were first posted in a Facebook group for sharing AI-generated pictures.
