— The meet-and-greet to kick off Evansville’s annual spring photography exhibit will take place 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, March 16 at the Evansville Art Center.
Photographers who will be on hand to meet visitors and discuss their work include 15 Evansville Photo Club members and many 4th grade students from the Brandon-Evansville School District.
Photo club members have been working with students in Tina Bosma’s and Brian Perleberg’s classes, teaching them aspects of photography. Students used cameras donated to the school by the photo club with the help of a grant. The photo club members own work will be displayed, as will the best selections of each student’s work.
The public is invited to attend the kick-off reception, and refreshments will be available.
The exhibit will run through April 27.

The exhibit is partly funded with money from the state Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.
