FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Photographer Phonexay Keobandith, a long-time friend of FOX26, used his impressive photography equipment to capture some stunning photos of Monday’s solar eclipse.

While it was not a total eclipse for us in California, it still made for some interesting photos.

Phonexay said he used his Nikon camera at Woodward Park in Fresno.

I used a neutral density filter ND100000 to show the sun’s true color, which is white.

He says the filter also protects the camera while taking direct pictures of the sun.

The photo progression was taken around 10:20 a.m., a max view at 11:14 a.m., and a final shot around 11:40 a.m.
