PENSACOLA, Fla. — The Wide Angle Photo Club is holding its 31st annual photography competition from Nov. 1 through Nov. 3.

They’re calling for artists to submit their images.

You can send in wildlife, aviation, seascape photos, and many more to the different categories.

Submissions are open through Aug. 18. It costs $15 dollars per image, but it’s only $10 an image if you submit it by July 15.

The winners and hundreds of images will be displayed at the Voices of Pensacola on East Government Street.

Along with looking at the beautiful images, you’ll be able to check out something new during the competition.

“We’re also doing something different this year. On Saturday the second, we’re having a lecture series called ‘Pensacola Through the Camera.’ Basically a look at the history of this great city, looking at the old images that we have. We have some great historians and photographers giving lectures,” Timothy Brooks from Wide Angle Photo Club said.

The lecture is free and breakfast will be served at 8 a.m.

Lectures start at 9 a.m. and go until 5 p.m.

There will also be a walking photo event in the evening.
