CAMDEN HARBOR, Maine (WABI) – You may have seen some incredible pictures of two humpback whales spotted in Camden harbor earlier this week.

We caught up with a Michigan truck driver and amateur photographer who says he was ‘extremely lucky’ to be on a boat tour when it happened.

It turns out one of the whales has been tracked for several years now, the whale’s name is Hashtag which Johnson thinks is ironic since his photos have gone viral.

According to Happywhale.com, Hashtag was last seen in Nova Scotia in 2021.
