iPhone 16 Pro: Potential camera housing overhaul and enhanced photography capabilities

Speculation about the forthcoming iPhone 16 Pro has been swirling, suggesting a potential overhaul of the device’s camera housing. Leaks suggest that Apple may be considering enlarging the camera housing, hinting at the integration of larger sensors in the device. This development has sparked anticipation among tech enthusiasts and Apple aficionados, as a revamped camera system could significantly enhance the photography capabilities of the iPhone 16 Pro.

Screenshots shared by tipster MajinBu on May 28 depict what appears to be an iPhone 16 Pro case featuring noticeably larger camera cutouts, hinting at the possible inclusion of larger sensors in the upcoming device. This development suggests a potential enhancement to the device’s photography capabilities compared to its predecessor. Additionally, rumours suggest that Apple may increase the display sizes for its Pro models, with the iPhone 16 Pro expected to receive a 0.2-inch boost to 6.3 inches, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max may sport a massive 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR display. Previous reports have also hinted at the possibility of the iPhone 16 Pro featuring a larger sensor with 5X optical zoom, akin to the Pro Max model.

As with any rumours, it’s essential to take these reports with a grain of salt until official information is released by Apple. However, if the speculation about a larger camera housing and bigger sensors holds true, the iPhone 16 Pro could represent a significant leap forward in smartphone photography and cement Apple’s position as a trailblazer in the industry.

MLB icon Alex Rodriguez and his girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro are hugely popular figures in the baseball world. The New York Yankees legend credits Cordeiro for many positive changes to his lifestyle, and the couple takes psychological and physical fitness very seriously.

Cordeiro is the founder of JACFIT 5am Club, and also models occasionally for photographers. This was the case on Thursday when she had a shoot with internationally published fitness photographer, Ryan Lomer Ouellette. Both Cordeiro and Lomer Photography took to IG to share clips from the shoot, which captured a brilliant sunset.

Alex Rodriguez has been dating Jaclyn Cordeiro since 2022, according to Page Six, and the former Yankee has been full of praise for the impact she has had on his health.

When Alex Rodriguez discussed Jaclyn Cordeiro’s positive effect on his lifestyle

Back in October 2023, Alex Rodriguez appeared on “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” and amid the myriad of topics discussed, recalled a conversation he had with Jaclyn Cordeiro:

“You gotta get yourself in better shape,” Rodriguez remembered Cordeiro telling him.

“I just changed my routine and what I do now, Jennifer, is I get up in the morning and I don’t look at my phone until noon. So from the time I wake up, I’m in the gym at eight, I work out for a couple of hours, come home, do a little sauna, a little steam, stretch, meditate, and then I’m on my desk every day from 12-6.”

Speaking to the New York Post in April, Alex Rodriguez went into more detail about Jaclyn Cordeiro helping him lose weight and her methodological, scientific approach:

“I think what’s unique about her is that she’s gone from nursing for over a decade and she’s now shifted post-Covid into health and wellness. So she comes at it from a very organic, very scientific point of view, and she’s helped me tremendously. I mean, like I said, I’ve lost over 30 pounds [with help from Cordeiro].”

With the two very much in the public eye, fans can expect to see more from the couple in due course.

JR’s ‘TEHACHAPI’ Goes Behind-the-Scenes of His Monumental Collective Portrait of Incarcerated Men in California

JR’s ‘TEHACHAPI’ Goes Behind-the-Scenes of His Monumental Collective Portrait of Incarcerated Men in California

“Can art change the world?” is the fundamental question at the core of French photographer and street artist JR’s global practice. From a participatory public artwork in protest of Iran’s restrictions on women to a giant collective portrait of more than 1,000 New Yorkers, his work takes on architectonic proportions and emerges on the facades of iconic buildings, container ships, and even the U.S.-Mexico border wall.

A new documentary takes us inside the imposing confines of California Correctional Institution, a supermax state prison in Tehachapi, which sits about 100 miles north of Los Angeles. Supermax facilities are specially designed to house people who have demonstrated violent behavior in lower-security prisons or require extra protective custody, often including those on death row. Ultra-fortified and sprawling, CCI is also known simply as Tehachapi, housing more than 2,600 men—20 percent more than its capacity as of January 2023.

In the trailer for the forthcoming film, TEHACHAPI, the artist documents his visit to the prison in October 2019, where he embarked on a participatory portrait project with the help of more than two dozen residents. Through this project, JR listened to their personal stories and captured striking black-and-white portraits, taken from above to show light cascading down onto their faces. The group then collectively installed their portraits in a monumental mural on the ground of the prison yard.

Through a range of interviews with men who have been in the correctional system since they were teenagers, those whose sentences are expiring soon, and those who will likely never leave prison, JR illuminates how the justice system perpetuates a sense that the inmates are less than human through the brutal conditions of confinement. He proposes that expression and art can indeed make an enormous difference, both on a personal level and in communities. One participant poignantly reflects that “I was treated like a person, not an inmate.”

TEHACHAPI is scheduled for cinematic release across France on June 12. Find more on JR’s website and Instagram.
