Will Hoyer is a self-taught photographer who has been taking his art semi-seriously for about five years. He enjoys getting out early in the morning and savors the quiet and solitude to be found at that time in Dubuque, on and along the Mississippi River and in nearby parks, before returning to a busy household with two teenage and one “tween” daughters.

His favorite photos are simple ones that provide a unique view of recognizable subjects, and he is happy to have so many beautiful places to photograph in the Dubuque area.
