VINCENNES — In the countdown to the April 8 solar eclipse, The Open Gallery features an exhibit of “the astrophotographic marvels of Chuck Reinhart,” who photographed the 2017 eclipse and will be offering prints for sale of that photographic solar exploration.

Reinhart has ordered the prints in roughly the same order that they were taken as the moon was traversing through the day-lit sky. Reinhart explains that in these eclipse moments, “we are made aware of something far beyond our common understanding. The eclipse reminds us that we are connected to the sun and moon as well as to the cosmic wonders of the Milky Way and the universe at large.”
