New art installations are just around the corner for Cochrane. Monday morning the Cochrane Crossing Civic Plaza Art Project task force announced the selected artists for sculpture installations at the community plaza near The Station at Cochrane Crossing. Following submissions, the task force evaluated each proposal based on emotional resonance, creativity, thematic relevance, artistic technique, and suitability for the space and its diverse patrons. Their recommendations landed in selecting three artists. Karen Ho Fatt for one sculpture and both Malann Klassen and Lara Kruger for two pieces.
