SARANAC LAKE — While the leaves are gearing up for peak color, some Adirondack artists are gearing up for the annual ArtWorks Studio Tours, which return this Saturday and Sunday.
Studio Tours offer art lovers the opportunity to visit and have conversations with artists, see works in progress as well as the finished products, and to purchase pieces.
In Saranac Lake, there will be hand-outs with a map and artist addresses available, as well as ArtWorks brochures, at most art venues.
Tour hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., but some business have their own hours. Most of these are walkable from anywhere downtown. At Berkeley Green on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be a mini art market featuring Caper Tissot, Martha Watts, George Bryjak and Shane McIntosh.
There is no charge to take a studio tour.
