A special photography exhibit called “A Witness to History” is coming to Kentucky State University’s campus. It’s all about the amazing photos taken by Moneta Sleet Jr.

Sleet was born on Feb. 14, 1926, in Owensboro, and he loved taking pictures ever since he was a kid. He got his first camera as a present and joined a photo club in high school. When he went to Kentucky State College, he took pictures of events and people on campus.
