A Swift Current artist is showing her long-standing sculpture at the Art Gallery of Regina through the end of July. Semiotics of Leisure is an exhibition curated by Sandee Moore that features pieces from four artists, each of whom challenges the idea that leisure is an escape from work, by intertwining the two concepts in their creations. Terri Fidelak, director of the Art Gallery of Swift Current, was invited to be part of the exhibition when she was living in Regina “I’ve spent my life making jigsaw puzzles with the women in my family and I love it,” she said. “In January 2020, I was like, I have spent a lot of time on making puzzles in my life, and I decided that for the rest of my life, every jigsaw puzzle that I complete is going to get added to a stack.
