A Franklin man has been charged with one count of distribution of unlawful photographs and three counts of unlawful photography after police said he used a hidden camera to take nude photos and videos of a woman.

According to a Metro Nashville Police Department news release, 36-year-old Colin T. Rowe was arrested on Tuesday by Williamson County Sheriff’s Office deputies following a “months-long investigation.”

Police allege that Rowe secretly took the nonconsensual images of an unidentified “female acquaintance” who discovered the images on Rowe’s laptop in September 2023. He is also accused of sharing the images and videos online.

Rowe was booked in jail on a $9,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
