
The Gorman Museum of Native American Art at UC Davis will reopen with a celebratory weekend on Friday, Sept. 22, and Saturday, Sept. 23, coinciding with the museum’s 50th anniversary. A ribbon-cutting ceremony, a public blessing, and campus officials will speak starting at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, followed by the museum opening at 2 p.m.
On Saturday, the museum will open from noon to 5 p.m. and include a day full of music, dance and cultural demonstrations.
