With the rapid, and welcome, return of the sun I thought this would be a good time to talk about photography in brighter and sometimes harsher light then we see in the winter.

Many photographers only shoot during the sweet light we often have in the morning and evening when the sun is low on the horizon. Many also limit themselves to only shooting when the sun is at their back. Unfortunately, this results in some missed opportunities, and I hope this column will convince you to explore a wide range of lighting conditions.
