As part of her year-end project, Esther Clarke created an 8-foot-tall sculpture honouring her late Ugandan-born mother. Dubbed ‘Tatine,’ which Clarke’s mother was called by her close friends and family, the structure is an ode to both her Ugandan roots and cultural impact.
