Elizabethtown-based public relations and marketing firm Heartland Communications Consultants Inc. has announced that Betsy McElwee has been promoted to art director of the firm. McElwee brings more than 15 years of experience in graphic design and marketing to the Heartland team.

In her new role, McElwee leverages her creative vision and marketing insights to spearhead the coordination of graphic design assets for Heartland clients for use in digital and print advertising, branding and along with other items, a news release from the company said.
