Native American artists engage young learners at Breckenridge Elementary School

Native American artists were at Breckenridge Elementary School on Monday, Nov. 27 and engaged with over 600 students and staff in traditional native games and music. Will Crawford and Bryan Akipa worked with students and staff, then finished with music and a round dance.

Akipa also performed flute music. Both the artists taught students and staff Dakota words for the objects being used in the games.
