Internationally recognized photographer and Provincetown resident Jane Paradise captures the profound and intimate connections between people and their environments. This is stunningly apparent in her book “The Dune Shacks of Provincetown,” published in December 2022. A new exhibition by the same name at the Cape Cod Museum of Art in Dennis will present 42 of these photos, accompanied by a selection of quotes from the book. Samuel Tager of Provincetown is the guest curator. The show opens on May 4 and runs through July 30.

An opening reception and gallery talk with Ms. Paradise is planned for Thursday, May 4, from 4 to 6:30 PM. The gallery talk will be from 4 to 5 PM. The reception is free, and reservations can be made online.
