Local photographer Paul Calkins will again teach classes on digital photography at the Newport 60+ Activity Center.

From 10 a.m. to noon on Fridays, Sept. 8-29, Calkins offers “How to Use Your Digital Camera – The Basics.” This class deals with basic photographic composition and how to use a digital camera and save the images onto a computer.
