UTICA — The Resource Center for Independent Living, in conjunction with New York State and the Mohawk Valley Hate and Bias Prevention Regional Council, will host a free screening of a film tribute to the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Friday, Jan. 19, at 5:30 pm. at the Dorothy Smith Center for Advocacy, 1607 Genesee St.

Immediately following the film, a panel consisting of Freddie Hamilton, Roosevelt Patterson and Margaret Gallaway will discuss the pillars of King’s work, according to the announcement by RCIL officials.
