ROME — Growing up in and around the Capitol Theatre is now inspiring Rome native Bill DiPaolo to help bring some major entertainment performances to the downtown venue.

DiPaolo, president of Rome-based Entertainment Services and a Rome Free Academy class of 1992 graduate, recalled his late father Tony DiPaolo – an icon in the local entertainment industry himself – was a projectionist at the theater. As a youngster, the younger DiPaolo came to the theater with his dad and cleaned and painted and helped with just about any job he was capable of doing.
