Wasted, a skateboard brand based in Paris, has forged a creative partnership with fellow label Damn, resulting in an capsule collection that reverently honours the trailblazing Punk Picasso legacy of American filmmaker and photographer, Larry Clark.
The limited-edition collaboration is made up of several styles including a flannel button-down, printed tees, hoodies, pullovers, denim bottoms and skateboard accessories. One noteworthy piece is the Plaid Riot Shirt, constructed in a mixed material blend with sewn patch and printed finishes. The Casper Denim Jeans also catch the eye, arriving with artwork from Clark’s Punk Picasso book, and a woven label on the back pocket.
Completing the capsule are two decks, an ashtray, rolling paper and a wallet, each adorned with further pieces in the form of unreleased photographs from Tulsa to River Phoenix memorabilia and intimate family portraits.
“Wasted and Damn share a common culture and deep connection to the Parisian skate scene,” says Xiang-Fang Ye, co-founder of Wasted. “This collaboration pays tribute to Larry Clark’s work through the underground spirit of both brands. What drives this partnership is our shared passion for youth, photography, and skateboarding.”
You can cop the Wasted x Damn x Larry King collection now exclusively from wasted.fr, and at the Wasted flagship in Paris from October 23.
