MANCHESTER, Iowa — On a recent rainy day, West Delaware art instructor Jolene Pitzenberger-Timp set off with high school students for an afternoon of “Troll Hunting.”

The assignment was to find a troll at a nearby park and carry it back to the classroom for a drawing session.
