SOUTHBURY — The Western Connecticut Bird Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, February 15, at the Southbury Public Library, 100 Poverty Rd.
The program will be preceded by a half hour social.
Wildlife conservation photographer Danielle Noel Hawthorne will present, “Birding: A Wildlife Photographer’s View.”
The presentation will focus on how different a photographer’s perspective can be in many ways and on numerous levels, from equipment to mindset, image composition, conservation, education, lighting and weather, habitat considerations, excursions and travel.
The program will include images from Costa Rica and the northeast.
The meeting is open to the public. This meeting is not sponsored by the Southbury Public Library.
