TUSCUMBIA – The Tennessee Valley Art Association is hosting its 4th Annual Winter Art Market November 28–December 23 at the Tennessee Valley Museum of Art.  

The TVAA member opening is on Saturday, November 25 as art association members get an early preview and first-chance shopping.

Dozens of artists and artisans create a unique holiday shopping experience, with hundreds of one-of-a-kind pieces of art to choose from.

Three-quarters of the Winter Art Market proceeds go directly to the individual artists and small businesses creating the artwork, while one quarter supports the Tennessee Valley Art Association, a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit.

“Artists really love this event because it brings them sales and exposure, without as much work and stress as a traditional art festival. As an art association, we’re glad to be able to support artists in this way.” said Christi Britten, the Tennessee Valley Art Association’s executive director.

“When you shop at the market, you also support the TVAA.” Britten added. “Your purchases help us build our community and children’s theatre programs at The Ritz, bring more exciting art exhibitions to the museum, and offer more arts education through our new Tennessee Valley School of Arts.”

Museum hours are Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 10am-5pm

Museum admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students, and free for TVAA members.
