State Port Pilot staff writer Michael Paul has been honored with several photography and video awards in the 2023 annual National Newspaper Association Foundation’s Editorial Contest.

Paul received first place for Best Sports Photo, third place for Best Online Album or Slide Show and honorable mention for Best Sports Photo.
