The MagniPal™ back was derived with the idea in mind that a strong Magnet should be on the back of the garment in order for a button to lay flat on the fabric and be too cumbersome to swallow. A user can mix up all minus (-) button tops with various, all plus-pole (+) MagniPal™ backs.  MagniPals are also treated with a non-toxic, ill-tasting chemical that would prompt most people  to spit it out.

MagniAccent™ Spot Buttons were designed such as to a) not weigh down delicate  fabric, b) have the smallest possible size and material weight to afford the smallest magnetic strength possible to stay attached through light fabric. Since all MagniAccent™ magnet tops are of a minus (-) pole they will not maintain enough magnetic strength becoming stuck backwards. This helps avoid damage across stomach linings, if ever ingested.
